Health and Safety Policy

A good way for a company to show their safety commitment is through a company health and safety policy. This policy will need to discuss how a safe and healthy workplace for all staff will be maintained, and what procedures will be run in order to achieve this.

Site Safe has a comprehensive Health and Safety Policy document completed updated to meet the legislation (Health and Safety at Work Act). For your investment, receive:

  • 15 page PDF document - health and safety policy statement, code of conduct and relevant operational policies.
  • Tailored electronic document - this template can be easily modified to suit your business needs: add your company details and assign particular staff to safety activities.
  • Demonstrate sound health and safety - show your commitment to ensuring the safety of your workers and anyone affected by your work.

Under the Health and Safety at Work Act, PCBUs* are required to take all 'reasonably practicable' steps to ensure a healthy and safe workplace for yourself, your workers and visitors while in the workplace.

The health and safety policy is a method to assign responsibilities to company staff; and to generally make employees aware of their responsibilities and how to comply with the business health and safety policy.

*PCBU - this is one of the terms used in the Health and Safety at Work Act. Despite the name a PCBU is not usually an actual person, (it is a legalism referring to a business entity) in most cases the PCBU is the business itself, e.g. a company or an organisation.

Please note: once you have purchased and paid for this item an electronic copy of the policy will be emailed out to you within 2 working days.
