About the presenter: Shaun Bowler

Shaun Bowler

We spend a third of our lives at work - if it’s not going well, that’s a lot of time! But we all experience ups and downs in work and our wider lives from time to time - how can we enjoy the journey more fully?

By sharing the right life skills with you, I can help you lead a richer, more meaningful life. Maybe you need help with stress, anxiety, low mood, work satisfaction, relaxation, exercise or sleep. Having worked in the Pacific Islands recently for a year I also know the strengths and challenges that community connections bring, and the value of diverse cultures.

Workplace wellness is my thing. I’m skilled in mindfulness training, stress and coping, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), neuroscience-informed approaches to wellness, career development, facilitation, workplace learning, organisational development and psychometrics.

Sustainability, both social and environmental, is a guiding value for me.

As a registered psychologist my work is supervised (in confidence) by a senior colleague and I uphold the Code of Ethics of the New Zealand Psychological Society.
