Topics at the workshop include:

Topic 1: Why upskill?

Ben Parker, Education Manager at Site Safe will explore some of the benefits, challenges, and considerations of upskilling the workforce in an ever-changing world.

Topic 2: The Future of Virtual Reality in Safety Training

Wayne and Dean from Skills VR will explore subjects such as why you should consider virtual reality (VR) for training and how to successfully implement VR Training, current use cases in safety training, what the future looks like; challenges and considerations.

Topic 3: The Importance of Site Reviews and Audits

Chris Jobson, Northern Regional Manager, at Site Safe will cover the importance of reviews and audits and share common areas for concern in planning, electrical, fall prevention.

Topic 4: Executive Insights

Adam Still, Business Development, Marketing and Communications Manager  at Site Safe will cover how executives can have assurance that the right health and safety processes are being followed to keep their people safe, including: Training and competency of workers, reviewing activities and completed work, engaging the right contractors and record keeping.

The workshop will wrap up with a discussion and a Q&A.

Terms and Conditions for SiteSmart National Safety Show (NSS) Prize Draw

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern your participation in the SiteSmart National Safety Show prize draw ("NSS prize draw") offered Site Safe New Zealand Incorporated. By participating in this prize draw, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

Please read these terms carefully before participating in the prize draw.

Eligibility:

The NSS SiteSmart prize draw is open to new or existing SiteSmart and Site Safe customers who are at least 18 years old and have a valid email address.

NSS SiteSmart Prize Draw Period:

The NSS prize draw will commence on 25th of June 2024 and will continue until the 26th of June 2024, the duration of the National Safety Show.  Site Safe reserves the right to modify or terminate these terms without prior notice.

How to Participate:

  • To participate in the NSS prize draw, you must be a new or existing customer of Site Safe.
  • You may enter the NSS prize draw by attending one of the following events at the National Safety Show:
    • Workshop event held on Day One 12.30pm
    • SiteSmart demo held on Day One Tuesday the 25th at 2.30pm
    • SiteWise demo held on Day Two 26th June at 1pm
  • Additionally, you must visit the Site Safe stand (stand 1084) to get your workshop attendance card signed at any time during Day One or Two of the National Safety show, 25th & 26th June 2024.

Prizes:

  • Upon successful entry, the entrant will be eligible for the specified prize, which has been determined by Site Safe.
  • The prize is in the form of one free annual subscription for .
  • The prize must be claimed within 3 months of the prize draw end date.
  • Site Safe reserves the right to change the prize structure at any time during the prize draw period.

Redemption and Limitations:

  • The winner will be notified via email regarding the prize they have earned.
  • The prize will be set up within a reasonable time after the prize draw has closed.
  • The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and may not be redeemed for cash.
  • We are not responsible for any tax liabilities or additional costs associated with the prize. It is the responsibility of the participant to report and pay any applicable taxes.
  • Where the prize includes free or discounted products or services:
    • the prize must be redeemed within three months of the prize draw ending.
    • The winner will agree to our general terms and conditions as part of engaging in the product or services included in their prize.

Prohibited Conduct:

  • Participants must not engage in any fraudulent or unethical behaviour to win the prize.
  • Participants must not create multiple accounts or use any other means to manipulate or deceive Site Safe.
  • We reserve the right to disqualify participants and withhold the prize if any fraudulent or unethical behaviour is detected.

Privacy:

  • By participating in the prize draw, you agree that Site Safe may collect and use your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy.
  • We may use your contact information to communicate information pertaining to the prize draw and any related updates.

Limitation of Liability:

  • Site Safe will not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the prize draw or the use of any prizes.
  • Site Safe does not guarantee the availability, quality, or functionality of any products or services offered as prizes.

Termination:

  • Site Safe reserves the right to terminate the prize draw or disqualify any participant at its discretion if it suspects any violation of these Terms and Conditions or any fraudulent activity.
  • If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
