Renewing Your Training and Site Access

If your training or site access needs renewing rather than book a course you’ve already done, why not learn something new?

Upon the completion of any Site Safe course you'll be able to download your digital Site Safety card which will renew your training and site access for two years. 

Time to renew? 

If you've already completed a Foundation Passport course then instead of repeating the same course you can opt to do one of our Passport Plus courses - 

The Passport Plus course is the same time and money investment as our basic passport and your learners will get to discover new material in an area of interest. 

Renew through other providers

As part of our partnering agreement with Vertical Horizonz (VHNZ), the following VHNZ courses may be used to renew Site Safety Cards:

  • Confined Space & Gas Testing (2-day)
  • Low Level Scaffolding (2-day)
  • Mobile Elevated Working Platform (MEWP) (1-day)

Only learners who have previously held a Site Safety Card (Passport) are eligible to use these courses to renew their Site Safety Card. Successful completion of these VHNZ courses also gives learners six credits towards our Health and Safety in Construction Programme.

Note for Electrical Workers: please be aware that for Electrical Passport holders undertaking a higher level training course, this will renew your site access but will not renew your Electrical Practicing License. The Registered Electrical Workers course may still be the best option for you.

Already achieved the Certificate or Programme?

Site Safe run a Continued Professional Development (CPD) forum for graduates. This 4-hour forum allows you to renew your site access card, keep up-to-date with the latest health and safety information and connect with other graduates in your area.
