Nigel Smith

Nigel joined the Site Safe Board as a General Director in 2024.

Nigel has worked in the New Zealand construction industry for over 30 years, starting his career as a qualified Architectural Designer.

He has worked in construction companies as a designer/estimator, as well as site manager and construction supervisor. He has owned several residential construction businesses and has an ownership in the Jennian Franchise operations in the Canterbury area as well as providing the national Technical Directorship to both Jennian and Milestone Brands.

Nigel is experienced at governance, management and operations. He also brings industry, strategic, and construction insight to the table. His reputation for hard work, drive and commitment is strong. He continues to work on both the Board of BRANZ and the Board of Registered Master Builders NZ.

Nigel looks forward to positively impacting the construction industry in Aotearoa/New Zealand on the Board of Site Safe in ways that value achievement, service, community and innovation.
