Introducing the new look Site Safe Card

28 Aug 2024

We are excited to announce that from 9 October, we will be issuing a newly designed foundation, technical and leadership Site Safety Cards. This updated look will align with the fresh, modern design of our new website.

No Action Required: Your current card will remain valid until the next renewal, at which point you will receive the new design.

Key Features of the New Design

  • Foundation and Horticulture Indicators: These new indicators will replace the previous green tick. If you have completed a foundation or horticulture course, these indicators will be added to your card.
  • Enhanced Support Features for Learners.
  • Digital Wallet Integration: You will soon be able to download the Google Wallet and Apple Wallet, and access your Site Safe Card via these apps.
  • Information Layout: We have reorganised the information on the front and back of the card for better clarity.
  • Learner Portal: Soon, learners will have access to a personalised portal (via our website) displaying their training history and relevant information in one convenient location. Further information will be released soon.

If you have opted for a physical card from 1 August and have not received it, we are in the process of printing further cards and will mail these out from 9 October. We apologise for any inconvenience.

In the interim, we encourage cardholders to download the Site Safe Learner app from Google Play or the Apple Store to access their digital Site Safety Card.

If you're a member with access to the portal, you may confirm learners' validity by using the ID Checker. If you would prefer a refund of the cost of the physical Site Safety Card before 9 October, please call us below.

If you have any questions, please contact our Customer Service team on 0800 SITE SAFE or emailtheteam@sitesafe.org.nz

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to safety. We look forward to bringing you and your team these exciting updates!
