COVID-19 Protection Framework - Respiratory Illnesses Guidance

As an industry, we keep building together with the revised COVID-19 Protection Framework - Respiratory Illnesses Guidance meant to keep our workers, their whānau and the wider community healthy and safe by preventing the spread of the virus.

The COVID-19 Protection Framework - Respiratory Illnesses Guidance has been developed in response to the government's announced COVID-19 Protection Framework - also known as the Traffic Light System.  

The COVID-19 Protection Framework consists of:

• an overarching framework showing each traffic light colour that must be adhered to
• more detailed protocols providing ‘supporting resources’ and 'guides for workers' which can then be adapted on a site by site basis. 

The framework is a living document which will evolve as requirements change from government and industry. The framework will be kept updated by a working party of health and safety practitioners from across industry.
