Southern Safety Advisor

  • Christchurch Location

We’re looking for a health and safety professional, with a passion for helping businesses become safer.

As one of our Safety Advisors you’ll be working alongside companies in the construction industry helping them embed health and safety behaviour and systems that make a difference. This will involve undertaking on-site Health and Safety Site Reviews (audits) and providing health and safety consulting services. You’ll be identifying areas of risk, providing feedback and suggesting workable solutions. You’ll also facilitate classroom and online training sessions to help improve behavioural awareness of health and safety.

We’re looking for a qualified Health and Safety professional with experience in delivering training. An Adult Education qualification would be an advantage, as would knowledge of construction, or similar, industries.

In return for your skills, experience, and great attitude, we’ll offer ongoing training and professional development and some great benefits like health and life insurance. A vehicle will be provided for work-related travel, as this will be integral to the role.

Safety Advisor - Bay of Plenty

  • Work from hone with regional travel
  • Full-time role

We’re looking for an experienced health and safety professional, with a passion for helping businesses become safer. 

As one of our Safety Advisors you’ll be working alongside companies in the construction industry helping them embed health and safety behaviour and systems that make a difference.  This will involve facilitating classroom and online training sessions, undertaking on-site Health and Safety Site Reviews (audits) and providing health and safety consulting services.  You’ll also be out and about connecting with industry to build relationships and promote Site Safe in the Bay of Plenty region. 

We’re looking for an experienced and qualified health and safety professional.  Ideally this will be backed up with a Health and Safety and/or Adult Education qualification.  Knowledge of construction, or similar, industries would also be an advantage. 

In return for your skills, experience, and great attitude, we’ll offer ongoing training and professional development and some great benefits like health and life insurance.  A vehicle will be provided for work-related travel, as this will be part of the role. 

This role is part of the Northern Regional team based in Auckland and, as such, requires someone who is resourceful, flexible and enjoys working independently.  This role would be based at your home (or other appropriate location) in the Bay of Plenty (with flexibility on actual location), with travel to regional locations to deliver training and connect with industry.

Dynamics 365 & Customer Platforms Specialist

This is a great time to join Site Safe. Since it was formed in 1999, Site Safe has been influential in creating a positive change in the health and safety culture of New Zealand’s construction industry. Our overarching goal is for the industry to be proud to be safe and to reduce injury and harm. 

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform specialist to join our ICT team. In this role you will be responsible for customer facing cloud platforms and be the champion of designing and building great user experiences for our customers and internal users alike.

Your portfolio includes Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Platform, SharePoint, Office 365 and our portfolio of integrated customer focused cloud applications and website. With health and safety training and products being our core purpose, this role is about owning the customer learning journey and supporting our internal teams to ensure a great user experience across the learning lifecycle.

If you’re interested in creating great user experiences by designing and building seamless workflows between our website, CRM, Power Platform and learning management system then this role is for you. As the internal technical champion on our customer platforms, you will be an integral part of a wider team of analysts and developers through our vendor network.

We are looking for someone who has: 

  • 3+ years’ experience of working in a System Administration role with a range of Microsoft Business suite products, including:
    • Dynamics 365, CRM (Sales and Service)
    • SharePoint Online
    • Office365 E3 or above
    • Power Platform (Automate, Apps, Centre of Excellence starter kit)
  • Business analysis and documentation writing skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot, analyse and problem solve
  • Experience with vendor management, working with third party providers
  • Great communication and collaboration skills
  • A strong work ethic and customer focus
  • Curiosity about new digital technologies and aspires to combine workflow automation with usability.
